This supervisor position is first shift. Salaried position – hours will be 40-45 per week. Exact hours are flexible.
– Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations.
– Oversee the receiving, storing, and shipping of products in compliance with company standards.
– Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures.
– Train and mentor warehouse employees on best practices and safety guidelines.
– Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy.
– Collaborate with other departments to optimize warehouse operations.
– Utilize warehouse management system (WMS) to track inventory and manage orders.
– Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
– Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions.
– Resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during warehouse operations.
– Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar supervisory role.
– Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping processes.
– Familiarity with e-commerce fulfillment processes and 3PL operations.
– Proficiency in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
– Experience working with warehouse management systems (WMS), such as AS400.
– Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues is preferred.
– Understanding of OSHA regulations and ability to enforce safety protocols.
– Demonstrated ability to lead a team and drive results through effective communication and delegation skills.
– Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
