Our client located in the Northwest Metro Suburbs of Minneapolis is looking to add to their team a Mechanical Assemblers due to continued growth.

Responsibilities

The Mechanical Assembler fits and assembles components according to assembly blueprints, manuals, engineering memos, sketches, and knowledge of machine construction to construct, rebuild, and repair machines and equipment, using manual tools and power tools.
The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, including working knowledge of pneumatics and electrical controls. We are looking for someone who likes to “tinker” and problem solve. Great attention to detail and inquisitiveness are necessary.

Qualifications

A minimum of 2 years of mechanical assembly related experience is required
Reading and viewing electronic blueprints or part drawings experience preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of pneumatics and electronic controls

Core Skills:

Blueprint reading: 1 year (Preferred)
Mechanical Assembly: 1 year (Required)
